The Pella Cross Country squads head to Indianola today where they will face some of the best competition in the state, mostly larger schools. Coach Doug Cutler says it’s a very tough meet, especially on the boys side where there will be six or seven Class 4A ranked teams competing but he says it’s great competition to run against and will only make them better in the end:.

He says on the girls side he’s been very impressed with their results so far this season including last week’s Johnston Invitational where he challenged them to try and finish under 17 minutes and five girls accomplished that. He says their main focuses right now are conference, districts and state and this meet will be a great test for them today. He says they’ll be taking the entire team to Indianola today and everyone will get to run which is nice for the kids.
