The Pella School Board met yesterday afternoon in regular session at the Administration Building at 4:30. The board discussed affirmative action, which is a topic up for discussion every two years. The school board has certain goals they try to achieve such as the hiring of men and women for different positions as well as minorities. Also the board discussed the preliminary enrollment of students for this year. The preliminary enrollment this year is down over 5 students from last year. The Pella School Board will meet again on October 11th at 4:30.
