Teachers and administration in the Knoxville School district are working hard to improve standardized test scores and student achievement in each school. The building principals presented an update on the work being done to help achieve these goals to the Knoxville School Board at their meeting this week. One of the things being focused on is collaborative time for teachers to work together and look at the needs of each individual student needs. Teachers across the district are working specifically on literacy and math skills to not only improve test scores but to also make sure students are prepared to move on to the next grade level.
