One of the topics up for discussion at the Pella School Board meeting on Monday was whether or not to use a search firm to bring in the next superintendent. Current Superintendent of Pella Schools, Mark Wittmer tells KNIA/KRLS News that the school board have narrowed the list of firms down to two, The Els Group and Tryon and Associates. The Els Group is the search firm that hired Wittmer 12 years ago. No decision has been made at this point and is expected to be revisited at a later meeting.
