You’ll likely see a few ghosts, witches and monsters out walking around today as a Halloween tradition continues in our local communities.  Beggar’s night will be held from 6-8pm in Knoxville, Pella, Melcher-Dallas, Pleasantville and Monroe.  In addition, a retail beggar’s day will be held from 11:30am-1pm in downtown Knoxville where participating businesses will have goodies available for trick-or-treaters as well while parents can check out the variety of goods and services available right here in Knoxville.  Children are urged to wear bright colors or carry a flashlight and motorists are asked to slow down and be alert when traveling during these times.
