Central College’s academic building, the Roe Center was featured in the American School Board Journal’s fall issue of Learning by Design: The Premier Source for Education Design, Innovation and Excellence. The journal gave the building a learning by design citation of excellence for 2010 as being a green school building. Central earned it’s first platinum Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design or LEED rating for the Roe Center and has three LEED rated-buildings overall.
