After carding a season team best 322 last weekend to sit just four strokes behind tournament leader Wartburg College, Central maintained a second-place standing at the third round of the Iowa Conference women’s golf championship yesterday. Central is 24 strokes behind Wartburg and 35 strokes ahead of third-place Luther. Kaurie Kincaid, a sophomore from Knoxville, sits in third, nine strokes behind the leader. Teammate Ali Miller is fifth. The fourth and final round of the 72-hole tournament concludes today at the par-72 Centennial Oaks Golf Course in Waverly.
