Today is the final day for flood and storm damage victims in Marion County to apply for possible FEMA assistance. So far FEMA has approved a total of $22.4 million in grants for Iowa residents including more than $629,000 for homeowners and renters in Marion County. Residents who have received any amount of flood or storm damage between June 1st and August 31st need to register by the end of the day today in order to be considered. Registrations can be completed by calling 1-800-621-3362 or online at disasterassistance.gov. In addition, the Mobile Disaster Recovery Center located at 2003 North Lincoln Street in Knoxville will also close at 6pm this evening.
