On Monday, the “Judge Bus” took off from Des Moines to travel around the state of Iowa to talk with supporters about voting no on judge retention for the three judges who struck down the constitutionality of the one man one woman marriage law. After 19 stops and nearly 1300 miles, the bus came to Pella on Thursday for a quick stop at the Tulip Toren. Former member of the House of Representatives in Louisiana Tony Perkins, CEO of Mission Vision Passion Leadership Bob Vander Plaats and President of Iowa Family Policy Center Chuck Hurley were on the bus to speak briefly about judge retention. The bus came to Pella at 3:15 which was the last stop on the tour before heading back to Des Moines.
