The Knoxville City Council met in regular session last night. At the meeting, the council received a Parks Commission update from member Pennie Sommar and approved the addition of a memorial bench at Auld Park. The council also approved the purchase of a lagoon outfall meter for $15,500 and a Flo-Dar wireless flow monitoring system for $15,540. Both purchases will be made through the Plant Replacement Fund and will assist the city and contracted engineers in finding out how large of a equalization basin needs to be built.
