Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a motorcycle accident in the southern portion of the county Saturday afternoon. At approximately 2:30pm a motorcycle driver in highway 5 lost control near the Marion/Monroe County line. After sustaining injuries in the accident the driver was air lifted by Mercy One to Des Moines for treatment. The accident remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
