A new non-medical home health care business has opened up in Knoxville, providing services for elderly and disabled individuals who need assistance with everyday tasks. Caring Hearts and Hands is owned and run by Sandy Ewoldt Coon who is assisted by Kathy Duggar and offers a variety of services such as cooking meals, tidying homes, running errands and setting up medication. Ewold Coon says Caring Hearts and Hands can also provide respite care for clients and relieve loved ones for a few hours so that they can have a little time for themselves. She says overall the goal is to be flexible and convenient for their clients. The business currently has eight local employees who are now taking clients in the Knoxville area and hopes to expand services to other outlying communities in the future.
