After completing an undefeated season and winning a Class 3A District 7 championship, the Pella High football team enters the playoffs as one of only three undefeated teams in Class 3A and is one of the hottest teams in the state.

Pella Christian hasn’t forgotten the hurt and disappointment of what happened last year when they entered the Class 1A playoffs as a number one seed and were upset at home by fourth seeded Panorama in the opening round. This year, the Eagles, coming off their third consecutive district title, are up a class to 2A and again are a number one seed, and are determined to not let that happen again when they face fourth seeded Roland Story tonight.
