Pella and Pella Christian volleyball squads are getting ready for Tuesday’s Regional championship matches. Pella will battle Winterset in the class 3A match up, and Pella will not have to travel far, only to its closest rival’s gym in Knoxville where many of the Lady Dutch players have either played volleyball or basketball many times before. A win would make it six consecutive state tournament appearances for Pella. Pella Christian meanwhile, only has to ride the bus for around 25 miles to Carlisle to take on Bondurant-Farrar in the class 2A Regional final. This is the match-up of the number nine and number 12 teams in class 2A.
