The Pella City Council met last night in regular session at the Pella Public Safety Complex. Items that were discussed at the meeting was the resurfacing project on Main Street and Oskaloosa Street, approval of a $109,100 traffic light improvement project and awarded the bid for the construction of North main Street to Concrete Technologies, Inc. of Urbandale for $1,656,606.30. Also on the agenda was the approval of the special event request for Pella in Pink and the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk. The Council will meet again on October 19th at the Pella Public Safety Complex.
