Despite resting several of their top runners, the Pella cross country teams placed well in Monday night’s meet at Norwalk.  With number one runner Zach Buchheit resting for the conference meet, the Pella boys placed three runners in the top ten, earning a second place finish in the team standings.  Evan Jones earned fourth place, while Michael Schemm and Ryan Sievers placed eighth and ninth, respectively.  

On the girls’ side, Head Coach Doug Cutler elected to rest four of the team’s top five runners, but a tight pack, led by an eighth place finish from Hannah Martin helped the Lady Dutch runners secure third place overall.  The meet at Norwalk was the final tune-up for Pella before Monday’s Little Hawkeye Conference meet at Knoxville.
