A Pella Native recently graduated from The U.S. Army’s Basic Combat Training program. Private Brian Bushnell completed the 9 week training program at Fort Sill, in Lawton, Oklahoma and learned a variety of new skills. The program includes training exercises in drill and ceremonies, Army history, first aid and rifle marksmanship. Brian is a 2008 graduate of Pella Community High School and is the son of Mike and Ruth Bushnell of Pella.
