The Pella High volleyball team cruised to victory last night sweeping Norwalk 25-11, 25-15 and 25-14 to earn a berth in Tuesday’s Class 3A Regional Final.

Hali Steenhoek had eight kills, Lindsay Bentzinger had seven kills and three blocks, Kelsi Rempe had six kills. Brooke Fessler had 23 assists, three blocks and six digs and Makenzie VanderMolen had six digs. As a team, Pella had 12 ace serves, six of which came in game three.

This was also the final home game for Pella’s 10 seniors, Bentzinger, VanderMolen, Addie Smith, Alexa Azinger, Steenhoek, Fessler, Kelsi and Karissa Rempe, Kelsey Fynaardt, and Hope Wadle, and they were determined to finish strong at home.

Pella improved to 37-5 on the season and will look to advance to their fifth straight state tournament when they play Winterset in the Class 3A Regional Final at Knoxville Tuesday night at 7pm
