As expected, with previously top ranked Williamsburg falling to Solon Friday, and second ranked Pella winning at Keokuk, the Little Dutch are now the top ranked team in Class 3A in this week’s AP high school football poll. Clear Lake is ranked second while Harlan is third followed by Solon and Sioux City Heelan completing the top five. The rest of the top 10 is Marion, Wiliamsburg, Union, Decorah and Carlisle. In Class 2A, Pella Christian is 11th in the AP poll. This week’s Radio Iowa poll, however, has Harlan as the top team in Class 3A, with Pella 2nd, and Pella Christian is 8th in Class 2A.
