The Pella volleyball team clinched at least a share of the LHC title last night with a 3-1 win at Norwalk 25-19, 20-25, 25-21 and 25-16. The Lady Dutch had outstanding offensive balance as three players combined for 44 kills led by Lindsay Bentzinger and Kelsi Rempe each with 15 and Hali Steenhoek added 14, and setter Brooke Fessler dished out 48 assists. Defensively Mackenzie VanderMolen had 17 digs, Bentzinger had 13 while Alexa Azinger added 11 and Rempe had 10. The win marked 15 straight victories for the Lady Dutch, who improved to 29-5 overall on the season and 6-0 in the LHC. Pella will look for their third straight tournament title when they play in the Knoxville Invitational tomorrow, then can win their second straight LHC title when they finish conference play hosting Knoxville on Tuesday.
