The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in special session yesterday morning. At the meeting the board approved off right-of-way agreements between the Secondary Roads Department and multiple landowners in the county involved with maintenance and disaster recovery efforts. In addition, five contracts were approved for phase one of the recovery repairs for the five locations that have been designated as the most crucial repairs. The total of the five contracts is $190,157.50 which is significantly more than the estimate due to the time constraints and shortage of materials in the area.
