On Saturday afternoon, Pella Police, Pella ambulance, Pella Fire and Marion County Sheriff Deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Idaho Dr. and Highway T15. The report showed that Shirley Ann Lahvic of Pella entered the intersection and failed to yield to a semi-truck driven by Anthony Langstraat of Pella. Lahvic and one passenger were transported to Pella Regional Health Center for non-life threatening injuries and were treated and released. Langstraat was not injured.
