Last week, Mary Vermeer Andringa, the President and Chief executive advisor at Vermeer Corporation was elected chair of the National Association of Manufacturers Board of Directors. Andringa is the first female and the third executive from a small or medium sized manufacturing company to chair the NAM board. Andringa will be replacing Michael Campbell of Arch Chemicals, INC. Her two year voluntary leadership term will begin on January, 11 2011.
