After handily defeating Concordia-Moorhead last season, the Central College men’s basketball team found itself on the wrong end of another blowout, as the Cobbers clobbered the Dutch 80-53 Saturday in Moorhead, Minnesota. Central jumped out to an 11-6 lead to open the game, but never led again as Concordia-Moorhead strung together several scoring runs throughout the game.

The Dutch were led by 13 points from forward Jack Bruns, while Jacob Winkler led all players with 10 rebounds. The Central men are now 2-3 overall as they open Iowa Conference play on the road at Loras College on Wednesday. Last season’s series was split, with each team winning on its home court.
