Central College quarterback Nate Snead carved out a special spot in Dutch football history this season, accomplishing something that no one else at his position had done in at least 50 years. Snead finished the 2010 season with 669 yards on 141 carries, becoming the only Central quarterback to lead the team in rushing on the season.
Last weekend, Snead ran for 86 yards on 22 carries in a disappointing 20-17 loss to rival Wartburg. His rushing numbers were complimented by 1,503 yards passing, as he completed 96 of 179 attempts for 12 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. Central finished the season ranked No. 25 in the D3football.com poll with an 8-2 overall record.
