Playing another NAIA school at the Pizza Ranch Classic at Northwestern College was none too kind to the Central College women’s basketball team, as they were dominated by Dordt College 106-58 yesterday. The Defenders had the Dutch well out-sized and placed five players in double-figure scoring – including three with 20 points or more. Central was held to just 25 percent shooting from the field, and led on offense by Alyssa Schwartz’s 12 points. AJ Baker had a game-high 11 rebounds. The Central women are now 3-3 overall, and will begin Iowa Conference play on Wednesday at Loras College.
