The Indiana Township Fire Department, Knoxville Fire and Rescue and Marion County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a structure fire shortly after 5am Tuesday morning near Pershing. The structure on fire was a large two car garage in the 1700 block of 179th Place in Pershing. Indiana Township Fire Cheif Mike Legvold tells KNIA/KRLS news the apparent cause of the fire was a wood stove in the garage. No one was injured.
