Thanks to the nice weather in Marion County over the past few weeks, Harvest is nearly completed. Justin Huebner from Two Rivers Cooperative says that yields for corn will average 135 bushels, a noticeable decrease from a year ago. Huebner adds that beans did surprisingly well, averaging around 50 bushels per acre, due in part to farmers using hog manure. The harvest is expected to be completed by the middle of this week.
