The 9th annual KNIA/KRLS food drive continues this week. The Big Red Radio will be at the Knoxville Hy-Vee from 1 until 4pm Wednesday collecting food for our area food shelves. Shoppers can donate cash, purchase a pre-made grocery bag full of non-perishable food items or bring food and toiletries from home. So far this season local residents have filled the KNIA/KRLS Big Red Radio once and we’re well on our way to filling it up again. In addition, the Big Red Radio will return to the Knoxville Hy-Vee on Black Friday from 6-9am so early morning shoppers can donate to the food drive then as well.
