The Knoxville City Council will meet in regular session Monday evening. Items on the agenda include a public hearing in regards to the sale of four properties, adoption of a police for the payment of medical bills for prisoners prior to booking in the Marion County jail, the second and third reads of an ordinance establishing the Mayor’s Youth Council, approval of the hire of Paramedic Special Greg Higgenbotham as a full time salaried position for the Knoxville Fire and Rescue Department and adoption of a policy for the reimbursement of deductible insurance costs for personal vehicles of city employees in official use. The meeting will take place at 6:15pm in the council chambers of the Knoxville City Hall.
