The Knoxville Education Foundation is hosting a pair of fundraisers during this year’s winter sports season to raise help fund scholarships and special projects within the district. The “Shooting for the Future” fundraiser will collect a set amount of money for each 3-point basket made by Knoxville varsity boys and girls basketball players this season, and the “Pins for Education” fundraiser asks for pledges for each pin made by a varsity wrestler. There is a 25 cent minimum for each pin or 3-point basket made and participants will be billed the full amount at the end of the season.
