Over the past week, Middle school students from Knoxville gathered hundreds of pounds of food for the 9th Annual KNIA/KRLS Food Drive. Wednesday afternoon students gathered to load the Li’l Big Red Radio full of food for those needing help in Marion County. The food will be transported to Helping Hands as part of KNIA/KRLS’s efforts to fill the shelves of our food pantries in Pella and Knoxville. All of the students stressed the importance of helping others in the community who are less fortunate.
