The Knoxville Elementary Parent Teacher Organization and Knoxville Morning Kiwanis Club are sponsoring a Hamhocks and Beans Feed today with all the proceeds going toward the purchase of new classroom supplies for Knoxville elementary schools. Ernie Smith, Past President of the Knoxville Morning Kiwanis Club says the event has been successful in the past and they’re looking forward to this year’s fundraiser. Dave Garcia, Knoxville PTO President says they too will be donating toward the cause by matching 100% of the proceeds. All community members are invited to Dyer-Hudson Hall between 11am and 7pm to enjoy ham and bean soup, corn bread and beverages. Tickets will be available at the door for $6.
