The Knoxville Raceway recently released its 2011 racing schedule. The season opener will be April 30th…while the Annual Masters Classic and Hall of Fame Induction Weekend is June third and fourth. The only time the World of Outlaws pay a visit to the half-mile before the Knoxville Nationals will be June 11th for a one-night show. Race Director Ralph Capitani says the raceway is trying to get either a two or three day show with the Outlaws or an additional weekend. Some other highlights to the schedule are Harris Clash Modified scheduled for June fifth, the A-M-A Flattrack Motorcycles on September tenth, and the Eighth Annual Lucas Oil Late Model Nationals which for the first time this season will be a two day event. The 21st 360 Nationals is August 4-6, while the 51st Knoxville Nationals will be August 10th-13th.
