The match ups for the annual Knoxville Turkey Shoot have been announced. The Turkey Shoot will be next Friday at Knoxville High School and will involve eight boys basketball teams from around the region. In game one Lynnville-Sully will play the Knoxville J-V at six, Pella Christian will take on Centerville at 6:45, Pella will play Montezuma at 7:30, and P-C-M will play Knoxville’s varsity at 8:15. Each “game” is actually two-eight minute quarters of basketball. Many coaches use this event to evaluate their teams in a game-like setting and does not count against the teams’ win/loss records.
