The unofficial tip off of the boy’s basketball season is tonight in Marion County. The Annual Knoxville Turkey Shoot will have eight teams playing two quarters of basketball. Knoxville, Pella, Pella Christian, and P-C-M are all playing, and those teams will be joined by Lynnville-Sully, Centerville, and Montezuma. The first game is at six with Knoxville’s J-V squad playing Lynnville-Sully; Pella Christian will play Centerville at around 6:45; Pella takes on Montezuma at around 7:30; and will wrap up at around 8:15 with P-C-M and Knoxville’s varsity. Admission to tonight’s activities is three dollars or get a dollar off if you bring a non-perishable food donation.
