Pella Dollars for Scholars, a volunteer-run fund-raising organization has announced its 2010-2011 board members. The executive committee includes President Josh Harrington, Secretary Deb Ditzenberger and Treasurer Chad Klyn. The Committee chairs are Abby Gonzales, Carrie Ver Ploeg , Cory Veenstra and Jason Schroeder serves as past president. Additional board members include Mike Kleis, Jim Palmer, Patty Zylstra, Mark Ellingson, Teresa Thompson, Tori Gensch, Emily Arrendell, Dan Van Kooten, Ethan Van Kooten and Lindsey Pierson. Dollars for Scholars is a nationwide network of community-based scholarship foundations that provide academic support and scholarships to graduating high school seniors.
