A trio of Pella athletes were recently recognized for their outstanding efforts on the gridiron.  Pella High’s Chris Bandstra was selected as Class 3-A First Team All-State Offense by the Des Moines Register, while his teammate, Josh Pringle, earned First Team honors on defense.  In Class 2-A, Pella Christian quarterback Kyle Nikkel was selected to the newspaper’s All-State Second Team.  Both Pella and Pella Christian won their districts and qualified for the playoffs in 2010.
