Over the weekend three of our local communities issued a snow ordinance to allow snow plows to clear off the streets. Pella Police Lieutenant John Van Haaften says that they issued less than a dozen citations in Pella, which could have to do with Central College students being out of town on break. In Knoxville, Community Service Officer Arlene Worrall says that they issued 18 citations which was down considerably since last time. Pleasantville Police Chief Joe Marstik said that he was very pleased with community compliance. They issued no snow ordinance citations over the weekend.
