Fourteen locations across Iowa have been chosen for 2011 Crop Advantage Series meetings, and the Iowa State University Extension Office encourages anyone involved in crop production to attend. Marion County Extension Director Dale Miller says because crop and pest management issues are different for each area of the state, these meetings are tailored to fit the needs of producers in the local area. Meeting locations in the area include Osceola on January 5, Ottumwa on January 6 and Ames on January 11. Advance registration for each location is $35 and includes workshop materials, lunch, and refreshments. Registration materials are available at the Marion County Extension office.
