The Clay Township Fire Department, the Knoxville Rural Fire Department and Marion County Sheriff’s office responded to a house fire north of Tracy at approximately midnight last night.The house was approximately 1/2 mile north of Tracy and 1/4 mile west of T-25. The proximity of a propane tank next to the structure, darkness, and the cold weather made fighting the fire difficult, and the scene was under control in approximately 1 1/2 hours. KNIA/KRLS was on scene, and it was unknown if the house was occupied or unoccupied at the time. No one was transported to a local hospital from the scene.
