The Iowa Senate Republican Caucus made their committee assignments for the upcoming 84th General Assembly recently. Senate Republican Leader Paul McKinley of Chariton says they are looking forward to the upcoming session and know Iowans are ready to embrace their aggressive agenda of more private sector jobs, less spending and lower taxes. In the upcoming session, McKinley will serve as a ranking member of the Ethics and rules and administration committees. The newly elected Iowa legislature will convene on January 10th.
