The Pella Christian Eagles are 4-2 this year. While currently away from the hardwood for the holiday break, let’s look at the season thus far for the Eagles.

The Eagles started the season strong, with 3 consecutive wins over West Marshall, Washington and Ballard. They hit their first speedbump against PCM. It was a tough home loss for the Eagles, but they rebounded with a convincing victory over Knoxville the following week. The Eagles would’ve liked to head into the break on a winning streak, but on December 17th, Grinnell had other plans. After a scrappy game, Grinnell came out on top 50-45.

The Eagles will return to action on January 4th at South Tama. They’ll have a pair of road games (South Tama, Newton) before returning home for the first time since December 14th.

Leading the Eagles with nearly 17ppg is Chase Carlson. Kyle Nikkel is putting up 13.5ppg and 11.6 rpg. Alex Branderhorst averaging just over 12ppg thus far.
