The Pella School Board met last night in regular session. Ann Visser with the Journalism department was on hand to showcase her Carl Towley award, the highest honor given to a member of the Journalism Education Association. The board also discussed the 2009-2010 audit report and reviewed the budget. In addition, Joan Corbin was elected to serve on the IASB board and the board discussed its vision statement. The next meeting is scheduled for this afternoon at 4:30.
