Pleasantville took down Wayne last night in girl’s basketball 51-to-26. The Trojanns fell behind early then ran off 14 straight points and took a 28-8 lead into the halftime break, erasing any thought of a Wayne upset. Konner Gordon led Pleasantville 14 points as the Trojanns stays perfect at 5-0 and when to 2-0 in the Pride of Iowa Conference.
