The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session yesterday. Following three public hearings the board approved amendments to the Comprehensive Future Land Use Plan and the rezoning of one parcel from agricultural to commercial 1 restricted and another from agricultural to commercial 2 restricted. The board also approved a resolution adopting the annual construction evaluation resolution in relation to construction of a confinement feeding operation structure and voted to move forward with establishing a Marion County Pioneer Cemetery Commission.
