The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has reopened Highway T-15 going across the Lake Red Rock Dam once again. As of Friday, the Corps needed to make slight design modifications in order for the contractor to be able to continue and Assistant Operations Manager John Holt says that there is no point in having the dam closed for traffic if no one is working on it. In addition, Holt says that there may still be some signage saying that the dam is closed but to not pay attention to it as they are removing them as soon as they can. The dam will close again after the first of the year.
