For over a month work has been taking place on the Lake Red Rock Dam to repair the tainter gate lifting cables. On November 19th, the dam reopened because because the contractor suspended the project until the U.S Army Corps of Engineers makes slight design modifications at the dam. Now contractors are ready to work again and as of December 7th, Highway T-15 at the Lake Red Rock Dam will be close once more. Those who travel this way will again be rerouted to Highway T-17 and G-46.
