As previously reported by KNIA/KRLS news, Columbia Fire and Rescue, Marion County Sheriff’s Office and Iowa State Patrol responded to a rollover accident on highway G76, west of highway 14 at approximately 1pm Friday. According to an investigation by the Iowa State Patrol, a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 41 year-old Craig Richard Bovee of Marshalltown was traveling west on highway G76 when the vehicle started to spin and went off the road on the north side. Bovee then overcorrected and went off the road and entered the south ditch, rolling the vehicle, knocking down a fence and landing on its wheels. The three passengers in the vehicle, 38 year-old Erica Bovee, 15 year-old Alex Bovee and 22 year-old Kristi Bovee were transported to Knoxville Hospital and Clinics to be treated for minor injuries, Craig was uninjured. The driver was cited for not having financial liability coverage and operating without valid registration.
