With the holiday break coming to an end for the Pella Christian Lady Eagles, let’s look ahead at the upcoming schedule.
Pella Christian will hit the road for 3 consecutive road games against South Tama, followed by Newton and Chariton. Head Coach Kevin Van Maanen says the contest at South Tama will be a tough one, that will more than likely have to be won of the defensive end. He adds they have a player, Madison Bayer, who is 6’4″ and has made big strides in her posts moves. He also adds South Tama has good 3-point shooting. Van Maanen says a solid inside-outside game will make South Tama a very tough team to beat.
The Lady Eagles are currently 4-1 and the year and undefeated in conference play. They’ll attempt to stay undefeated in Little Hawkeye Conference play on January 4th against South Tama.
